Hm
Well, this is new. Ish.
I've not posted anything for a long, long time. For no particular reason, other than that I didn't have anything to say (well, that's not strictly true, I didn't have anything that couldn't be said in 140 characters or less), and frankly I just couldn't be arsed. I still don't really, I just felt like dipping my toe in the water again. It may last, it may not.
For the last week or so, I've been waking up in the middle of the night with this weird thing that feels like a cold. My nose runs, I sneeze and I cough. It lasts for an hour or two (during which time I can't go back to sleep because of the aforementioned runny nose), and then it goes away. It just... goes away. Then, just as I get settled down and sleepy again, the FUCKING alarm clock goes off! Excuse my French, but it's most annoying. I come into the office with eyes like two pee-holes in the snow, and people say 'ooh you look tired' and I have to stop myself from battering them to death with the three-hole-punch.
So, in conclusion, nothing much has changed.
I'm still lazy.
I'm still grumpy before 10am.
I still overuse parentheses. (They're just so handy!)

Hurrah, I am still subscribed to your RSS feed! More updates required, maybe you'll inspire me!
Your sneezy thing sounds like Hayfever - we thought we had stinking colds for a few weeks until we took an antihistamine and they went away. The only one I'm not allergic to is Benadryl Acrivastine, which kicks in pretty quickly and claims to last a long time - if you take one when you go to bed, or when you first wake up with it, it might help? Good luck! x
Don't get too excited Sarah, it prolly won't last! But thanks for the comment. I do suffer from hayfever, and I take an antihistamine most mornings. I think the effects have worn off by the time this happens, but it's so weird that it just goes away! For no apparent reason! I hate things that happen for no apparent reason!
I am normally a very good sleeper, but last night woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep for two hours (due to jet lag I think). I have felt like killing someone all day. To go through that on a regular basis would mean potential genocide. I hope you get it sorted.
Welcome back, by the way. Long may it last!
Woo Hoo! You're alive! Thank God for Google reader! Any snippets (of however many characters you can spare) are gratefully received by those of us too old to Tweet!
Welcome back! :)
