People say life is the thing, but I prefer reading*

Why?

I'm 26. I'm past the hormonal-teenager stage. I look after my skin.

So why, oh mother of god, am I still getting spots?!?! When I used to complain about my skin at the age of fifteen, I was told that it would all be different when I grew up and it was just cause I was 'at that age'. My ass! No sooner has one cleared up than another appears!

I feel so cheated.

OMG tell me about it. I stopped getting spots for the last few years, then I move to Brussels and bang the hardest water in the planet. Boyfriend is like, whats going on, I have never seen you with spots, now they are everywhere. Honest to good the soft waters of Scotland are very much missed. I have even had to buy soya cream to put in the bath water to try and soften it. I now have so many spot products (which is ok considering who I work for I don't actually have to pay for them).

Anyway I have spots everywhere - including my shoulders which I was always told was just a teenage hormone thing! Anyway, I had to speak to my Nan about it (trained beauty person) and I am now on cream cleansers which means no water has touched my face for a month. I have not as many spots but my face feels like it needs a good scrub. I am so returning home at Xmas spotty (the water), frizzy haired (again the water) and fat (the waffles). . .

Sorry, rant done.

Hehe, you paint a good picture Drama Queen! I guess I should stop whinging seen as I'm lucky to still have the lovely soft Scottish water.

That Philosophy stuff is great and it has helped (spots when I get em aren't as bad and clear up quicker) but I'm still pissed off that I'm spotty at all!

And look at it this way - all the great bloggers get them:

I've got such a school girl crush on Petite - I need to get a grip....

A spot outbreak in blogland no less.

I don't get spots now but I've seen up close what pregnancy acne looks like and, trust me, it ain't pretty. My days are probably numbered...
