Blog Burn Out
I've kinda lost my blogging mojo recently. Real life seems to have gotten in the way slightly, and I've not had much time. The time I have had, I've been, err, having a bit of a fling with Bebo. It just happened, I'm sure you understand. It didn't mean anything.
I am also a little freaked out about the whole anonymity thing. I've not long registered on Bebo and Facebook and I found a referral in my sitemeter that scared me - someone searching for me by name, and coming across this blog. And I'm not sure I like that.

I had planned to write a good long post tonight, with a topic and proper sentences and everything, but I had the beginnings of a migraine - I managed to head it off with some drugs (legal ones, natch), but they also made me feel a bit queasy and light headed. So the good long post will have to wait till tomorrow. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it gives me more time to think of a topic. And I know you'll be on the edge of your seat till then.

In other news, I got a phonecall the other day to say that my wedding dress has arrived. My wedding dress is somewhere in Edinburgh, right now. The thought scares me a little. But only a little, mostly I just want to squeal and clap my hands. I've not been to try it on yet. To be honest, I've kinda lost my gym mojo as well, so I'm a teeny bit worried that I've morphed into the Goodyear Blimp, and the dress isn't going to fit. But I may be slightly overreacting. I hope so, anyway. I'll keep you posted.

Don't worry too much about the blogging blahs. They happen to the best of us!
One thing I've always thought would be helpful would to be write down post ideas as they come. I find most of them come when I'm driving or showering or similarly engaged - NOT when I'm sitting in front of the comp.
You may find that you're thinking of post topics fairly often and this can help remind you why you blog. ;)
Just a thought, though. Feel free to ignore it! ;)
Oh, go with the squeal and clap!
Gym mojo disappearing or not, it will probably fit like a dream.
Post when you can - it's understood this is a fairly busy time for you.
Hold up! They keyed in your REAL name and found your blog. . .but how?
People have searched for my real name but they got directed to me because they said 'what is DQ really called'.
I am going to test all this on google. Don't be alarmed if your hits show someone tryig again.
And sqeeee to wedding dress. Can I borrow it for this party I have in September? Once you're done with it of course.
When the body is weak and the mind is distracted by, let's face it, far more important things, blogging will always take a backseat.
So, you know, I understand completely.
The idea of someone coming to my blog via a name search really frightens me. Fortunately, people generally come looking for pictures of up Lorraine Kelly's skirt, or Edith Bowman "worst dressed list", so it's all good.
It'll fit, I'm sure.
And don't worry about excited blogs or not - these things come and go.
i get the bb's all the time, which is why i post only 2-3 times a week. no need to post every day unless you just want to.
oooh, take lots of pictures of the dress. we'll want to see it. i'm sure you'll look goregous in it.
The name search thing IS scary. Far scarier than your dress being in the Burgh - how exciting!
Oh, and Facebook is far better than Bebo.
